Came here with a large group for a birthday lunch and it was great! The service was quick and friendly, the food was great, and they brought out a slice of tres leches and sang to the birthday boy. It was a great experience and would definitely recommend!

I always noticed this place driving by to and from the Orange County Convention Center. It is on International Drive on a strip mall. Lots of parking right in front. After a late night at the convention center, we wanted to just sit down, have a cocktail (or 2) and a bite to eat. We didn't have much options since it was late and most places were closed or would be closing soon. I checked the hours for Aguardiente and they were open til 10pm that night . There were still a good amount of patrons in the restaurant when we got there but were seated immediately. The ambiance was more like a restaurant/bar setting. Lots of big screen TV's. It was a bit on the louder side but manageable. While deciding what to order, we noticed while looking around that many tables were ordering a dish which was heaping of food. After inquiring from our waitress, we were told it was the Picada. There were 2 types of Picada and you have a choice of size for either 2 or 4 people. The amount of food for the Picada for 2 was HUGE. It came with several items such as steak, chicken, sausage, plantains, yuca. It was served with a pico de gallo. We also had the Lomo De Res Salteado which was a steak dish in a savory broth with some red onions, tomatoes, bell peppers and green onions. It was delicious and also a big portion. It came with fries (which was added to the same plate with the steak and broth so I would recommend asking for it on the side so it doesn't get soggy -unless y'all like it that way!) in addition to the fries, it came with 2 more sides. We also ordered the empanada appetizers. Good amount to share and tasty! The food was excellent, the portions were huge. We all had take home boxes for our left overs. Our waitress was very attentive. I would definitely go back next time I am in the area!

Insanely delicious food options, drinks and ambiance are what you'll find at @aguardienterestaurante Their menu options are an homage to Colombian cuisine with everything ranging from their classic empanadas to bountiful picanhas (what we ordered!), and don't even get us started on their cocktail menu. 4 stars were given for service because although initially our server was very attentive, he eventually left to attend a large party and left us hanging for a good 25-30 to close out our bill. We ended needing to have him located by another server to have him come back to finish our service. Something that the establishment management might want to monitor more closely in the future. Overall, amazing ambiance, food and entertainment. * They are located in : 11048 International Dr, Orlando, FL 32821

Latin sports bar with Great atmosphere and music. The servers were very polite and took extra care and frequently checked on me. I went in late for a quick bite and only ordered appetizers. The empanadas were dimmed with beef and had a nice crust and crunch to the outside. Definitely will order again. The chicharron were very tasty and not overly fatty. The skin had a good crunch. Some did have too hard a crunch but there were very few of those. The drink was excellent. Would have preferred a larger size with less ice but it was tasty. Music was fun and they should have a dance floor!! Someone was celebrating their birthday and the entire staff and restaurant participated in singing! Made me decide to do my next birthday here! I'll definitely be back.

Awesome Service by Manuela and also what seems to be the Manager. The Bandeja Paisa was delicious, big, and plenty. The Ceviche is also delicious as well as the Natural lemonades. However, prices are high ($6 for a lemonade and $23 for a Ceviche) during lunchtime. Total $85 with the tip for a normal lunch without any appetizer, nor dessert nor alcohol!

Nice ambiance, clean and large restaurant. I can imagine it being great for birthdays or to gather with friends. I did find the prices a bit pricey but in consideration to the area, it makes sense. The soup of the day (sancocho de res) was delicious and kids portion was a generous size. What I was upset about was that the waitress told me I could substitute my kids menu from French fries to beans. However, when the bill came it was added as a side of beans. When I asked her about it she told me the back told her she couldn't do it so she just added it as a side... ummm ok? You weren't going to tell me?? Or bring me the fries that I still had to pay for?? Its literally only a $5 add on but its about the principle of communicating. So a kids menu for a 2 year old went from $11 to $16.

I wanted to try this place as soon as I got to my hotel and saw that it was only 0.5 mile away. So glad I had the chance the last day I was in Orlando. I was seated outside and the weather was beautiful. It was pretty chilly inside and the music was a little too loud for my liking. My server was so nice and so attentive. She recommended the traditional Colombian dish, Bandeja Paisa but with skirt steak. It came with so much meat and it was beautiful. Everything was delicious. The steak kinda freaked me out because it had a vein that was tough to cut through and it just turned me off from eating it. I got it medium rare and it was cooked perfectly; it was just the cut that I wasn't a fan of. I tried to cut around the vein but ended up giving up. The pork belly was so crispy. The beans melted in my mouth and the rice and fried egg were so good. I wish I had more plantains but that's okay. I also ordered mango juice and that was so fresh. I got the esponjado passion fruit for dessert to go. It was such a lovely lunch date with myself.
